Track Layer (Rail) jobs and day rates

Broad UK range. Varies by region, experience and site; London and specialist work usually pay more.

  • Switch and crossing renewals
  • Working possessions under a COSS or SWL

Cards and tickets

PTS (Personal Track Safety) on a Sentinel card is mandatory. Track Induction plus competencies like COSS raise rates.
